ViŔnjan (Italian: Visignano) is a municipality in Istria, Croatia. ViŔnjan is the site of ViŔnjan Observatory (an astronomical observatory). ----  The observatory is home of several long-running international summer programs for youth in astronomy, archeology, marine biology and other disciplines.
